The silence rings in my ears.
Second day back.
I’m turned toward the window when I open my eyes.
Violet mountains seem to float in the sky, way too transparent to convince me I’m back.
The point is, who am I fooling?
Even I don’t believe myself when I ask whether I’m just sleeping.
The sound of a horn brings me back to reality. Of course. But how real is this reality? It’s still a reality, and that’s my I get up, like any other day.
